Service Description

Myofascial Release — 75 Minute Session Slow, sustained work that creates real change. Myofascial Release (MFR) is a hands-on technique that works with the body’s connective tissue system—known as fascia. Using gentle, sustained pressure, your therapist follows areas of restriction, allowing the tissue to soften, lengthen, and reorganize over time. This isn’t forceful or rushed work. It’s precise, patient, and highly effective. Trained in the John F. Barnes approach, your therapist works with the body—not against it—waiting for the tissue to respond rather than pushing through it. This allows for deeper, longer-lasting changes in pain patterns and mobility. This session may support: Chronic pain or tension patterns Restricted movement or stiffness Old injuries or scar tissue Postural imbalances Pelvic, abdominal, or fascial restrictions Nervous system holding patterns What to expect: A slower-paced session with sustained holds and subtle movements. You may feel stretching, unwinding, or gradual release through the body. Many clients notice changes not just in mobility, but in how their body feels and moves overall. This work often reaches areas that traditional massage cannot. Session Details: 75 minutes — full treatment session $125 All treatments are provided by licensed Registered Massage Therapists and are eligible for most insurance plans. Myofascial Release in Saskatoon using the John F. Barnes approach. Gentle, effective treatment for chronic pain, fascia restrictions, and improved mobility. FAQ Section What is myofascial release? It’s a hands-on technique that works with the body’s connective tissue (fascia) to release restrictions and restore movement. Is it deep tissue massage? Not exactly. It uses sustained pressure rather than force, allowing the tissue to release naturally over time. What does it feel like? Slow, steady pressure or stretching. Some areas may feel intense, but it’s not sharp or aggressive. How is this different from regular massage? It focuses specifically on fascia and long-held restrictions, often creating longer-lasting changes in pain and mobility.
