HIBERNATION: A Weekend of Deep Rest and Renewal for Women
Charlie’s Barn, Reiley Farms · Richard, Saskatchewan
Approximately one hour from Saskatoon
Give yourself a whole weekend to hibernate before the holiday season takes over.
A warm farmhouse, nourishing food, a wood-fired sauna, and time to finish a chapter before falling asleep under your blanket.
Now in our fourth year, Hibernation brings women together to explore how we cultivate and conserve our energy through the dark winter months.
Join Jenel and Lacey for a weekend of seasonal teachings, bodywork, ritual, and the kind of unhurried company that lets you settle in and exhale.
What awaits you
-
Teachings on darkness, melatonin, and our relationship with winter.
-
Mycelium and mushroom wisdom.
-
Rest practices and gentle movement to carry into everyday life.
-
Space for reflection and personal growth.
-
Nourishing meals prepared for you.
-
Wood-fired sauna time.
-
Plenty of room for reading, napping, and doing very little.
Your hosts and guest teachers
Hosted by Jenel and Lacey, each bringing around two decades of experience facilitating and supporting women.
We’re joined by Kirby Kriddle (Ssaskatoon) and Angeli of Feral & Fancy, from Edmonton, with guest sessions on Friday and Saturday evening centred on women’s nervous systems, connection, and personal growth.
We keep the session details hush-hush on purpose.
This weekend has been thoughtfully developed over four years, and we keep the full itinerary within the experience itself. A pre-retreat Zoom call will give you a chance to meet everyone and ask questions before arriving.
Sleeping arrangements — please read before booking
Shared beds are part of this retreat.
There may be a few single sleeping spots available, but please arrive expecting to share a bed.
Beds are first come, first served when you arrive. You arrive, you choose from what’s available.
If you prefer to sleep alone, there is ample room to bring your own air mattress and bedding and find a quiet spot in the large farmhouse to make your own.
Think communal farmhouse sleepover — sharing a bed may be the least intimate part of the weekend. If this sleeping setup doesn’t feel comfortable for you, this may not be your retreat, and that’s okay.
