Myofascial Release Therapy in Saskatoon
Deep fascial therapy for pain, restriction, and nervous system regulation.

If you’ve tried everything and your body still feels tight, stuck, or unresolved—this is where we work deeper.
Myofascial Release (MFR) is a hands-on therapy that works with the body’s connective tissue (fascia) to release restriction, reduce pain, and restore movement.
Injury, stress, inflammation, and surgery can create tension patterns in the fascia that don’t show up on imaging—but are deeply felt in the body.
MFR helps unwind these patterns, supporting long-term relief, improved mobility, and nervous system regulation.
At StoonRMT, myofascial release is tailored to your body—not a routine treatment.

John F. Barnes Myofascial Release with Jenel Maruk
Several therapists at StoonRMT offer myofascial treatment. If you’re looking for the John F. Barnes approach, book specifically with Jenel Maruk.
Jenel brings 16 years of hands-on bodywork experience to her sessions. Her John F. Barnes training includes Myofascial Release I and II, Fascial-Pelvis, Unwinding, and Myofascial Mobilization seminars.
If you’ve had treatment before and the same restriction or discomfort keeps returning, Jenel would love to work with you. She’ll listen to what you’re experiencing, assess how your body moves, and tailor the session to you.
Myofascial release is also a major part of Jenel’s WombCare sessions. In that work, she brings fascial treatment into abdominal and pelvic care, alongside the other bodywork and practices that make each WombCare session individual.
MFR INTENSIVES
For those who want dedicated time for this work, Jenel offers three-day and five-day myofascial release intensives. An intensive includes two to three treatments per day for the length of your stay. Together, you’ll plan the pace and focus of your sessions around your needs.
