Prenatal Massage From a Birth Professional

Pregnancy changes far more than muscles and joints. The position of the baby, the mobility of the pelvis, the function of the diaphragm, the balance of the nervous system, and the adaptability of the fascial system all influence comfort throughout pregnancy.

Jenel Maruk has spent more than 15 years working with pregnant and postpartum women and has attended over 300 births in homes, birth centres, and hospitals. Her training includes Body Ready Method®, Birthing From Within®, pelvic health bodywork, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, breast care, abdominal therapy, and womb-centered bodywork.

In addition to hands-on care, she has taught thousands of people through prenatal classes, workshops, consultations, and community education.

Every session is tailored to the individual needs of the mother and baby.

Support for Breech Babies & Baby Positioning

When a baby remains breech later in pregnancy, many parents begin exploring options to create more comfort and space within the body.

Jenel has advanced training in birth preparation, pelvic balancing, fascial release, and movement-based approaches that may help improve mobility throughout the pelvis, abdomen, diaphragm, and surrounding tissues.

For breech presentations, she often prefers to begin this work between 27 and 32 weeks when there is typically greater opportunity to influence comfort, balance, and available space for the baby.

This work does not attempt to manually turn babies. Instead, sessions focus on creating conditions that support optimal maternal comfort and movement throughout pregnancy.

Results vary from person to person and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.

WombSpace & Pregnancy Bodywork

Pregnancy requires continual adaptation throughout the body.

WombSpace sessions may incorporate abdominal therapy, breath work, fascial release, movement education, pelvic balancing, rib cage mobility, breast and chest work, and nervous system support to help mothers feel more comfortable as their pregnancy progresses.

Many women seek this care for:

  • Round ligament discomfort

  • Pelvic pressure

  • Rib discomfort

  • Back pain

  • Sleep challenges

  • Baby positioning concerns

  • Birth preparation
